Paper Mache Mask and Shield

The pictures below show the process I went through when creating my witch doctor costume.  This costume was inspired by a meal at KFC - the clear plastic covers to their to-go plates reminded me of an Indian Totem-pole face.  That, coupled with watching an episode of "George of the Jungle" is where I came up with the witch doctor theme.
